Privacy policy

This policy explains how Axiom Studios, based in Montréal, Québec, handles personal information through axiomstudios.dev. It covers this website and project inquiries. A separate agreement may describe additional practices for a client project.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the name, email address, message, and any optional company, project type or budget you provide. Please do not submit passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information through the contact form.

Our hosting systems may record technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and errors for security and operation. The contact form uses a short-lived, hashed identifier to limit repeated submissions.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, discuss a project, provide requested support, prevent abuse, maintain the website, and meet applicable obligations. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers and processing locations

The website is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure in Finland. Contact messages are transferred through Google Apps Script and stored in a private Google Sheet accessible to authorized people managing inquiries. These providers may process information outside Québec or Canada, where different laws may apply. We share information with providers only as needed to operate these services, or when legally required.

The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser may send Google technical information, including your IP address, when requesting those fonts.

Cookies

We use essential security cookies for forms and session cookies where needed, such as for administrative sign-in and submission confirmations. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party audience analytics on this website. Browser settings let you manage cookies; blocking essential cookies may prevent forms or sign-in from working.

Retention and protection

We retain inquiries only for as long as needed for communication, a resulting business relationship, and applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. We then delete or anonymize information that is no longer needed. Backup copies may remain until their normal rotation. We use access restrictions and encrypted connections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may choose not to use the form and contact us by phone instead. You may request access to or correction of your information, ask about deletion, or withdraw consent where applicable. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. We may verify your identity before responding.
